How to Earn a Promotion
Anyone can receive a promotion if they are:
Filling the front

Working at Security

Training Recruits

Supervising Base

Working at Help Desk

Helping around the base.

You should not promote someone if they are blackmailing, bribing or straight out asking for promotion as it’s against NYPD rules and should be reported to a higher rank immediately.

How Often Should Each Department Be Promoted?

Standards should work for 20 - 30 minutes at the front in order to receive a promotion.

Security & Training

Security and Training members should work 30 minutes in their respective areas in order to receive promotion or 60 - 90 minutes working at the front.

High Management through to Penitentiary and Jail

These ranks should work at a station for 1 - 3 hours in order to receive promotion.

LIMIT: 3 Promotions a day.

Investigations and Forensics through to Office Of Admin.

These ranks should work at a station for 2 - 3 hours in order to receive promotion.

Senior Management & Executives.

These ranks should work at a station for 3 - 4 hours in order to receive promotion.

Board of Directors through to Representatives

These ranks should work at a station AND supervising base for 3 - 4 hours.

LIMIT: 1 Promotion Every 2-3 days.

Senior Council & Ownership

These ranks should work on a daily basis for 3 - 4 hours in order to receive promotion.

LIMIT: 1 Promotion a week.

NOTE: Ranks above Ownership are SELECTIVE and are ONLY promoted if they are ACTIVE and LOYAL. (Unless Purchase of Rank.)

How to Conduct a Promotion

Make sure the person you are promoting has worked for the amount of time stated above. If you are unsure about when they were last promoted, check the logs or ask their previous promoter
When you are ready, call the person to ‘ATT’ or ‘Attention’
State why you are promoting them *e.g. “You have been working very well and I feel you deserve a promotion.
State what rank you are promoting them to.
Whisper them their new motto with the appropriate tag and format.
Once they have successfully changed their motto, tell them to be ‘AE’ or ‘At Ease’.
